Our Mission
MoonLich was created to provide the most accurate, modern, easy-to-use, and completely free Vietnamese lunar calendar. We believe that every Vietnamese person, wherever they are in the world, deserves a reliable tool for looking up lunar dates, auspicious days, auspicious hours, and Can Chi information.

Algorithm & Accuracy
MoonLich uses the Hồ Ngọc Đức algorithm, developed at the University of Leipzig (Germany). This algorithm is based on Jean Meeus' "Astronomical Algorithms" (1998) and has been trusted by the Vietnamese community for over 20 years. 100% accuracy for the period 1900–2100.
